Hello People!

I'm James and I'm a 25-year-old voice in a fast paced generation full of constant change.

Since I never know what will happen next, I've decided to document the majority of my life on a place we all live love. The internet.

Here's what to expect:

Almost all my inspiration comes from music. I have no idea where I'd be without it. From the roller coaster teen years to these cluttered twenties, it's music that has always been there. I know the songs I want played at my wedding, I know the songs I want played at my funeral, and since 2009 I've listened to Jon Foreman's Vice Verses at least once a day.

So yeah, I'm that guy. Blessed by the curse of music. And like music, I'm a professional reminiscer, full of opinions, ecstatic when I'm happy, and moody when I'm sad.  But overall passionate, nonetheless.

I also thoroughly enjoy sports and competition, steak & potatoes, and taking care of my car. But I'm in no way a typical guys guy. I like to write about my feelings and our culture. I like the beach at night. I felt a real sense of relief when Jim finally got his chance with Pam on The Office. I love social media.  And I respect my girlfriend.

The more ridiculous or random, the funnier things are to me. I also like "good" or "typical" humor too.  By that I mean I enjoy The Office--Modern Family--Arrested Development--watching popular YouTube videos/stars--Failblog.  

There's a lot more to me...but that's why I made this site. If nobody reads it that's fine. If it just becomes a place for my kids to look back on my life that's also fine. But I love discussion and community too, so come back.

I've also been told I'm funny.  Probably because I am.

Short Version:

I really love music. I tend to be sentimental. Girlfriend is awesome. Weird things make me laugh. Sports consume a lot of my life.  I have a lot of opinions on celebrities and popular things.  I'm not afraid to cry. I'm also not afraid of who I am, which is a fun & funny guy. Join me?
